How to treat cervical osteochondrosis at home

So much has been said about osteochondrosis that there is probably nothing to add, although this topic is so relevant that it is probably worth writing something from my own experience.Anyone who has ever experienced this disease will not confuse it with anything: sharp stabbing pains, limited mobility of the neck and constant discomfort are not yet a complete description of osteochondrosis.

So if this sounds familiar to you, in this material I will touch on two topics: symptoms of cervical osteochondrosis and home treatment.

What is cervical osteochondrosis and how to recognize the first signs?

Since humanity “got back on its feet,” the number of diseases has increased. This included not only high blood pressure, but also a number of musculoskeletal diseases. This is understandable, because the strain on the entire musculoskeletal system has increased many times over.Osteochondrosis is the price of “walking upright”.

Osteochondrosis is the pinching of nerve roots by spinal segments due to the thinning and loss of elasticity of the intervertebral discs. There can usually be many reasons for this, including a sedentary lifestyle and poor diet.

If this disease is not treated in a timely manner, it can lead to quite sad consequences. At the first stage, when raising the arms above shoulder level behind the head, sharp stabbing pains, cramps in the neck muscles and even numbness in the limbs are observed.

Aside from that.Short- and long-term headaches, dizziness and even sudden loss of consciousness when turning the head sharply are possible.

Where to start treating cervical osteochondrosis?

See a doctor to determine the stage of cervical osteochondrosis

Of course, it would be a good idea to see a doctor, at least to determine the stage of osteochondrosis, and only after that try drug treatment or undergo treatment at home with folk remedies.

Well, the doctor will tell you about drug treatment and even prescribe pills, and I will share my personal experience, thanks to which many people, including me, have completely eliminated all of the above symptoms.

Nutrition is the key to good health

Nutrition plays one of the most important roles in human life, as does the harmonious flow of all processes in the body.

The fact is that if you try to change your lifestyle for literally a month, starting with diet, natural immune modeling processes begin in the body, thanks to which you can get rid of a variety of diseases.

First, check your diet.If it contains a large amount of fatty and fried foods, eliminate them completely or reduce them to a minimum. However, if you “shoot” so much that “oh-oh-oh,” you will immediately listen to my advice.

Try avoiding flour or switching from light to dark baked goods.Black bread is the most useful.

Include dietary meat in your diet that is low in fat: white chicken, rabbit or boiled beef.Chew your food thoroughly as this helps your body digest and absorb it faster.Of course, include as many vegetables, fruits, herbs and herbal decoctions as possible in your diet.

You will be surprised at how many dishes you can conjure up from vegetables that are in no way inferior to your usual “snacks” and at the same time have a positive effect on your general well-being.

Gymnastics – osteochondrosis has no place in a healthy body!

With cervical osteochondrosis, it is recommended to perform gymnastics, and it should be noted that the exercises can be performed at any convenient time, lying down or sitting. The main thing is to do them as often as possible.

Carrying out gymnastics for cervical osteochondrosis affects the elimination of the disease

This not only increases the flexibility of the entire cervical spine, but also normalizes blood circulation, which in turn has a positive effect on the healing process of the disease.

In fact, the key word in gymnastics for the treatment of osteochondrosis is regularity, and what exactly you do is no longer so important.Tilt your head left and right, back and forth, forming a circle with your head and simply rolling your neck.

Self-massage, which can accompany the exercises, will not be superfluous and will enhance the healing effect.Mustard plasters and special pain-relieving ointments are also excellent for osteochondrosis.I would like to remind you once again that regularity is the main thing. If there is no visible effect after 2-3 days, you should not stop following my recommendations.

If you suspect osteochondrosis, you should not stop leading a healthy lifestyle even after all symptoms disappear. Now proper nutrition and an active lifestyle are your new lifestyle.

And one more thing: don't forget that you are closest to yourself. So be bolder in showing love for yourself and your body, which, if you respond to positive emotions, will surprise you in return in the form of excellent health.
